Many enjoy the busyness that beaches often attract, with plenty of people to meet and fun in the sun. However, for those looking to have a quiet and secluded beach experience, here is a list of the top ten must-try beaches around the world that will give tourists the private space they need.

Luskentyre Beach

Luskentyre beach is a phenomenal way for any pack of friends, a couple or even a solo traveler to hide away and get some privacy. This beach is stunning, accompanied with bleach white sands and contrasted by turquoise colored water, it is no wonder that this island has been used for cinema purposes, including BBC’s Castaway. Such a convenient space is also not too far from the mainland; placed merely off the coast of Scotland, Luskentyre is located on the Isle of Harris but is also just the right distance away to ensure visitors may have privacy.

Hat Pramong

Next on the docket is Hat Pramong, a seclusive beach which is located in the Koh Lipe region of Thailand. Skagen

Skagen is a town in Denmark which is located most north of the country. Skagen is home to an unusual beach structure called Grenen but is known more commonly to locals as The Branch. This beach is a special place for tourists to visit if they are looking for a calm attraction which does not receive too many visitors. Grenen’s size is increasing over time as the sandbar point is caught where two large bodies of water are meeting, Kattegat and Skagerrak Straight. Such phenomena are creating a fantastic attraction for visitors but are not necessarily the warmest beach conditions year round, and swimming is prohibited for safety reasons. That being said, there is a window in peak season which makes for ideal walking weather and may offer a refreshing dose of Vitamin D.

Bai Dai

Bai Dai is next up on the list of top privacy beaches; with such a dreamy lot, Bai Dai is located on the island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. Tourists should be sure to make a stop at this isolated getaway due to the quality of nature here. The waters and beach appear to be some of the cleanest in the world, making them ideal for families who are looking to have a private family trip or just hit the beach for a day. There is also a collection of vendors who provide amenities such as food, drink and beach friendly activities; surfing, kayaks, and boards.

Bai Dai has an incredible selection of activities and is a sanitary spot to be, the perfect transition for the follow-up beach known for beautiful sands.

Whitehaven

Whitehaven is one of the most beautiful places in the world, located in Australia. This beach is beyond comparison as it is filled with stunning, white sand comprised of approximately ninety-eight percent silica giving the beach a glowing sensation. Frequently coined one of the top beaches in the world by organizations like National Geographic, it is no wonder this gem made a list. Despite a considerable buzz, this beach meets the privacy list criteria because it is only reachable by boat or sky. Such seclusion makes the appropriately named Whitehaven a gem worth visiting all travelers, but be careful of the jellyfish, protective swimming suits may be preferable.

Muriwai

Muriwai is up next for travelers looking to get away from the hustle and bustle and into a world of isolation. Muriwai Beach is a community located on a coast Northwest of Auckland territory. However, it is what stretches beyond the seashore that makes Rangiroa a neat attraction. Due to the skinny lagoon-shaped structure of the islets, this travel destination is a fantastic way to get far from the hustle and bustle and seclude oneself in naturally occurring aquariums. Shallow waters and immense amounts of aquatic life provide for a unique experience not commonly found, such a plentiful bounty is what attracts deep water fishing to these parts as well as snorkeling and diving.
