Russia is home to the next architectural masterpiece on the list, St. Basil’s Cathedral in the Red Square. Built rebuilt in 1860, and unchanged since the architectural prowess of this site is unparalleled and hosts unique shapes and colors that make for a vibrant unit. Originally built by Ivan the Terrible, it was intended to commemorate the capture of Kazan and is now a museum. As a tribute to the impressive historical significance and exterior imagery, the site was listed in 1990 as a heritage site for United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). Tourists will be amazed by the beauty of Russia’s prized possession.
