Because Of A Dark Secret, This Hotel Was Abandoned For Several Decades
Deep in the misty jungles of Columbia, near the Tequendama Falls, lies a very obscure building. Nowadays the mansion is called the Tequendama Falls Museum of Biodiversity and Culture, but it used to be known as the Hotel del Salto. The legend is that, native men jumped from the surrounding cliffs in case of attacks. While falling, they apparently transformed into eagles.
Supposedly a few decades ago, inebriated rich people tried to recreate these scenes, however they did not turn into eagles... It is said that their ghosts still haunt the place nowadays.
