Having a list of 10 destinations to visit before you die can be subjective. Not everyone is going to look at a plan and put the same one together. The biggest thing here is that there are these tremendous places on this planet. All we need to do is really show up and take some of it in. The world around us is so diverse from one spot to the next. It also has the ability to make some truly unique features on and below its surfaces.

Some of these places are tucked away, while others are more common and known about. These extraordinary places can be opposite ends of the spectrum from each other. Beautiful beaches to dense forests and hidden towns, they all have their own unique reasons for making the case they are a place to visit before you leave this world.

This is a large plateau with an impressive 1,950 plus foot drop. Overlooking the Lysefjord has been made easy by this glacier cut cliff. The flat top of this plateau is about 80 by 80 feet. Be sure to be careful though, there are no railings between you and its edge. The spectacular view is well worth the potential nervousness I have heard.

3. Angel Falls, Venezuela

Right around 2,600 plus feet will garner you the title's largest waterfall. Angel Falls actually being the waterfall with this proud distinction. This waterfall is so tall that most water doesn't even reach the bottom. A large amount turns into a mist before it has a chance to come crashing down.

This archipelago is made up of 21 islands. The water is warm thanks to the South Equatorial Current. This current pushes warm water from Africa.
