Located adjacent to the Pacific ocean, this anomaly is a small six hundred meters long and is relatively stagnant. Hiller Lake has been oft-visited by both tourists and locals since its discovery back in the early 1800s, making it an infamous body of water across the world. Perhaps one of the ugliest insects is the Arachnocampa Luminosa, which in the larvae stage resembles a long maggot like creature. When collected inside the dark caves, millions of these glowworms give off an intimate and fascinating blue and green light.
