Destinations With Perfect Weather Year-Round

April 2, 2023

Hey Tourist! Nice weather makes people happier and friendlier, since they wake up to sunshine, take in the daylight, and feel energized to explore. With the cold weather still lingering, those of us in snow-heavy areas are longing for the sun to come out and the flowers to bloom. In warmer areas, the skies are still a bit dark, and the weather has been unpredictable. Are you hoping to escape the cold for something a little warmer, or do you just want to go to a place where the weather always seems to be nice? If you are, here are five destinations with perfect weather year-round, so you can get a much-needed dose of sunshine.

Florida

Florida offers much to do, depending on what you want to get out of your trip. Orlando has several famous theme parks, and Key West has its pies, but there are two up-and-coming areas worth a look. Miami has been a go-to destination in recent years, and if you seek a destination with sand and a trendy scene, head to South Beach. Spend a day on a white sand beach or people watching at Lummus Park, and then hit the hot nightclubs on Ocean Drive at night. If you cannot get enough of art museums, head to Winter Park, near Orlando, which has over five in the immediate area. Chow down at one of the many area restaurants, serving everything from vegan fare to barbecue grub after taking in the museum's works.

Hop on over to Southeast Asia for the next year-round destination.

Phillippines

The Phillippines, a country in Southeast Asia made up of more than seven thousand islands, is known for its plethora of outdoor activities. In the capital city of Manila, take a cooking class to learn how to make Filipino dishes, and wander around Fort Santiago or Rizal Park to soak up the sunshine. Take a day trip to Tagaytay Ridge and visit Palace in the Sky for breathtaking views. If you find yourself traveling during the dry season, consider stopping in the Bohol province to view the Chocolate Hills. See small native primates at the Tarsier Conservation area, relax at a resort on Panglao Island, and journey through the Hinagdanan Cave. Remember to bring a camera to capture the limestone, lagoons, and other stunning sights the Philippines has to offer.

Head to this country in the South Pacific for another destination perfect for year-round travel.

Cook Islands

The Cook Islands, a nation in the South Pacific, is an ideal place to go for sun and fun. Tour Aitutaki Lagoon, wade in the water, and relax in the peaceful quiet surrounding the area. For some unforgettable snorkeling, spot colorful fish at the Aroa Marine Reserve, and when you want a change of pace, take a glass-bottom boat tour or get your drink on at a brewery. Many of the restaurants offer healthy, vegetarian fare, but there is plenty of seafood to be found in the Polynesian dishes as well. Take in a night show and dinner on your final night for an unforgettable conclusion to your trip.
